Statement: Winnipeg Transit employees honour Thelma Krull and family with donation

For Immediate Release

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection (Canadian Centre, formerly Child Find Manitoba) would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the employees of Winnipeg Transit for their donation of nearly $6,800.00, in honour of Thelma Krull and her family. We are incredibly humbled by this generosity and are honoured that you are helping us continue our work to support families and protect children.

Our thoughts and hearts continue to be with Thelma’s family as they search for their missing loved one. We join with her family and community in hopes that someone will come forward with information to and help this family and police find the answers they need. Any information no matter how small could help find Thelma.

About the Canadian Centre for Child Protection: The Canadian Centre for Child Protection is a national charity dedicated to the personal safety and protection of children. Our goal is to reduce the sexual abuse and exploitation of children, assist in the location of missing children and to prevent child victimization.

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection was incorporated in April 1985 as Child Find Manitoba, following the disappearance and murder of 13-year-old Candace Derksen. The organization was renamed the Canadian Centre for Child Protection in 2006 to better reflect our national role.
