En accord avec ce principe, le CCPE a entrepris de tenir une compilation de documents publics (articles de presse, communiqués de presse, études et sommaires, billets de blogue, etc.) qui rendent compte des défaillances et des comportements antisociaux des entreprises de technologie, y compris les plateformes de médias sociaux.
Collectivement, ces documents mettent en lumière les conséquences dévastatrices de l’incapacité des entreprises de technologie à prioriser la sécurité de leurs utilisateurs, notamment celle des groupes les plus vulnérables, comme les enfants. Cette chronologie souligne une fois de plus l’urgence de réglementer rigoureusement les espaces numériques. *
